Well, boys, I got some bad news yesterday. My PSA has spiked from 8.9 to 28.3. Eventually your nurse Mommy will explain what that means.

In the meantime on a fun note... as you may know I LOVE dogs... especially puppies! Here is a video about Border Collie puppies that you may enjoy (they are considered the smartest dog):
Here's another funny video of a bunny rabbit herding goats:
This is a picture of our two white girl Dobermans... they really love each other and although they were born hundreds of miles apart, they were only born one day apart. Skye ("Skye Girl" 80 lbs.) is the one on top in the doughnut bed... Dixie ("Dixie Doodle" 70 lbs.) is the darker one hanging off the bed.

Many people are afraid of Dobermans but like all dogs if they are raised in an atmosphere of love, they will be loving. Don't get me wrong... both of these dogs love their family and like Jesus would give their lives for them if there was danger. 99.99% of the time, however, they are extremely loving and affectionate. I wish you boys could have a dog... boys need a dog. I got my first Doberman when I was Ethan's age. Her name was Tinka and she was a WONDERFUL and faithful friend.
There are so many Godly things that we can learn from dogs... including:
  • Dogs want to spend time with you like God wants you to spend time with Him
  • They are satisfied with whatever situation you provide them with as long as you are there because you are their life. They never want more than you and your love
  • Dogs - like the birds of the air in the Bible - never worry about what to wear or what to eat They intuitively know that God will provide
  • They are faithful and loyal... truly "man's BEST friend"
  •  Dogs teach us about unconditional love
  • Dogs instantly forgive... they never hold a grudge or are resentful
  • They always give us their BEST... 110%
  • Dogs love to work and would help you more if they could but "they don't have thumbs"
  • Simple things make them happy... a pat on the head... a piece of bacon... a walk down a country lane... just being with you

Here is a video I did to honor my BEST friend, Baxter who died 3 years ago (click here for a better view):

And finally here is a WONDERFUL song about dogs (click here for a better view):

I love you, boys and hope you can get a dog real soon,

Granddaddy
